The Kempner Corporation's leasing philosophy has always been "Stay Leased" by establishing close relationships with existing tenants and by having comprehensive knowledge of the local and national real estate markets. On many occasions we assign exclusive leasing agencies to our properties. The company is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Jim Kempner has served for the past five years on the I.C.S.C Program Committee and was recently the Chairperson for the N.Y. State Idea Exchange. Kempner carefully tracks all lease expirations in order to maximize the effects of renewal negotiations and anticipate space availability with considerable advance notice.
